I missed out on a 35mm transparency of Arnold Schwarzenegger at Cannes in 1977. There was something about that particular image that made me want it.

I wanted to find out who took it, and I thought it would be a simple search.

I searched through photo agencies and online archives, spoke to photographers, and tried to track down whoever took it. I even contacted the BBC about some old footage from Cannes.

I still haven’t found out who took the photograph.
